​The Shimano Volcanic Epic, presented by Tineli, is a unique five day mountain bike stage race held across New Zealand’s spectacular North Island geothermal regions, Rotorua and Taupo. If you’re looking for a truly special mountain bike event, the Shimano Volcanic Epic is your ticket to the experience of a lifetime.

The stages are between 30 and 60km do not require a high-level of technical skill with the majority of the stages on grade 3 and a  4 trails but may include the rollable grade 5 trails and navigation skills are not needed with the well-marked stages.

The 5 Days take place from Wednesday 26 March 2025 to Sunday 30 March 2025.​
